Top young golfers get on course for title at Dundonald links
12 AugustTop young golfers from across Scotland and beyond have descended on Dundonald for the annual R&A Boys' Championship, with over 250 players starting out in the tournament.
Dundonald Links hosted stroke play qualifying rounds over the first two days of the Championship, with the tournament being played across two courses for the first time.
Scores were high over the Dundonald course as players were buffeted by high winds, with Adam Carson of Long Ashton scoring the best round at Dundonald - a three under par 69 on the first day of the event.
Opened in 2003, Dundonald has already hosted the Duke of York Young Champions Trophy event, as well as qualifying rounds for the Senior Open Championship.
